The tiny borough of Christiana will get some big-time recognition on Tuesday’s episode of the TLC show, “Who Do You Think You Are?”
Actress and musician Zooey Deschanel, best known for movies such as “Elf” and “Almost Famous” as well as the television series “New Girl,” will appear on the show featuring Christiana and will explore her family ties to a historic event.
“The series famously takes celebrities on a journey into their personal histories, mining their surprising pasts to reveal unknown details about themselves and their families,” according to a TLC press release.
The borough is most famous for its ties to the Underground Railroad.
Deschanel visited Moores Memorial Library in Christiana to research her family ties to the area, according to library officials.
