I was recently given this early photo of the Parkesburg United Methodist Church. Notice the Presbyterian Church is not visible yet which dates this photo sometime around 1924. Also, notice the black iron posts for tying up horses along the street. Many “kids” will still remember walking by these posts on our way to the school. The window above the door is boarded up which, to me, is a sign that construction on the new facade on the church was still in progress.
