From the Parkesburg Police Department
The Parkesburg Police, with regional assistance from other police agencies and the Chester County Highway Safety Project, conducted a DUI Check Point on Route 10 in Parkesburg, Friday, August 21.
Approximately 850 vehicles traveled through the check point during its operation.
Police arrested 4 motorists for suspected DUI, and an additional 4 motorists for having an open container of alcohol in their vehicle. Another motorist was arrested for drug possession and an additional 9 motorists were field tested for impairment.
Police remind all motorists that impairment begins with their first drink. Don’t drink and drive!…and don’t use drugs, then get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle.
