The summer of 2013 will be known a the summer of construction across the Octorara region.

There’s the new turf and soon be installed bleachers at Octorara’s W. Gene Davis Memorial Field, Lancaster General $15M out patient clinic taking shape at the Route 30 and 10 intersection, Victory Brewing’s $30M West Sadsbury plant nearing completion next month and the new $1.7M Parkesburg Point building raising out of the long abandoned shopping center at the west end of Main Street.

In a series of quick updates on three of those construction project this morning we pause to look at the progress being made at The Point, Victory Brewing and at the high school field.

First, The Point.  With a new roof completed and much of the money raised for this phase of The Points building project, workers can now move forward installing the mechanical and electrical infrastructure and installing the drywall that will turn the old shopping shell into an attractive youth center for generations of Parkesburg kids.
