Octorara Boys Basketball Down Unionville, Rustin, Remain Unbeaten

Gene Lambert’s boys basketball team started 2016 on the same torrid pace they ended 2015 with two straight wins.

On Monday evening Lambert’s squad, led by Christian and Jackson ray’s combined 33 points, ran away from Unionville High School.  The Braves led 29-17 at the half and never looked back.

On Thursday the Braves overcame a 4 point deficit with a 19-10 surge in the fourth quarter to beat West Chester’s Bayard Rustin High School 61-56.

The wins leave the Braves with a clean 12-0 overall record, 5-0 in league play.

The Braves take on Great Valley High School Tuesday evening, Oxford on Thursday and Lampeter-Strasburg on Saturday.  All games this week will be played on Octorara’s home court and begin around 7:15 PM.
