Bruce Oas of Parkesburg died in an auto accident on Route 10 Monday afternoon. He was 51 years old.
The obituary in the Daily Local News notes Bruce,
“. . . was the devoted husband of Jane Lesser Oas with whom he shared 29 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of Charles and Ann Morgan Oas of Unionville.
Bruce was a 1981 graduate of Unionville High School where he was an asst. trainer for the basketball team.
He was employed by Wyeth and then GlaxoSmith-Kline of Conshohocken for a total of 35 years, but many will remember him as a proud employee of Jimmy John’s Pipin’ Hot Sandwiches of West Chester where he worked since the age of 16.
He was a member of the Parkesburg Baptist Church.
