Temple University pitcher senior Ben White, a Parkesburg, native did all he could to ensure a win in his final start at his home field, but a trio of costly misplays helped Saint Joseph’s to a 4-1 win on Friday afternoon.

Temple, now 23-26 overall, 3-16 in Atlantic 10 play on the year, managed a run in the seventh but were held to no more by the Hawks, who improve to 17-30, 7-12 in A-10 play.
